Teaching Philosophy:
In this video, I share my teaching philosophy and the values that guide me as an educator committed to global, inclusive, and whole-child learning.
My Philosophy:
My teaching philosophy is rooted in personalization and social-emotional learning. I believe every student brings a unique story to the classroom, shaped by their culture, strengths, and challenges. Drawing from my teaching experiences in Japan, Spain, and Sweden, I strive to meet learners where they are and help them build confidence in who they are becoming—both academically and personally.
My Mission:
My mission is to create meaningful, responsive learning experiences that empower students to connect with themselves and others. I aim to support each student’s emotional well-being and intellectual curiosity, so they develop both academic skills and the resilience to thrive in an ever-changing world.
My Vision:
My vision is to nurture a classroom where students feel safe, valued, and capable—where learning is not just about content, but also about growth, connection, and identity. Through culturally responsive instruction and personalized supports, I guide students to become empathetic, self-aware, and courageous learners ready to engage with a diverse world.
